Hi, welcome to my blog!

I’ve actually been blogging since I was in late-middle school / high school, back in Xanga days. I then went on to Blogger, stayed at Tumblr for a while, and here I am now.

I’m starting this blog to motivate me to get dressed up daily, which boosts my mood and helps me concentrate/wake up and to start writing again. If you’re following me, you’ll read about my daily life, style, and beauty tips! I’m aiming to try to update about twice a week.

These images are from my birthday dinner with my friend in Palo Alto at Zola back in November. As we were standing around waiting to be seated, I got some pictures taken. I wanted to highlight my bag and outfits, since I don’t dress up and put on makeup too often anymore (I blame work mainly and somewhat laziness).

I didn’t do anything too special with my makeup for my birthday dinner, just some foundation, shimmer gold shadow, eyeliner, mascara, blush, and lipstick. I did go a bit heavy on the blush, but I focused on my hair more. I rarely curl my hair, since it takes quite sometime, but I thought I had enough time. It turns out I didn’t and I found myself in a rush. Sadly, my curls also uncurled by the end of the night. Poop.

My previous images don’t do justice to one of my beloved bags, so here’s a close up. It isn’t the typical long cross body Chevron Chanel bags, but I think the shoulder chain is a bit unique.

You can tuck in the chain and make it into a clutch as well! I’m hoping to purchase a creme one in the future!

What are your favorite bags? Do you like vintage designer items?
