My consistency has been lacking with this blog, but I haven’t given up on it yet! It’s been such a whirlwind this past month, but some updates:
I started off this summer with my boyfriend’s graduation. His family came from Texas and SoCal to see him walk, so the leading days to his graduation we traveled with his family meeting old friends and doing some sight-seeing.
But the following week, I went to eat at House of Prime Rib! I don’t think I have eaten here for over a year or so. Every time there’s an occasion, I am out-of-town. Regardless, I never have had a disappointing dinner here. The past couple of years, this place has been really busy (not that it wasn’t busy before). The Food Network featured them, and then a huge fluctuation of people started coming. Before, I believe I could walk in and wait maybe 30~45 minutes. Now, I don’t think walking in is a wise decision.
House a Prime Rib is a classic staple in San Francisco. Though it is a nice restaurant, it has an inviting casual ambiance. I would definitely recommend going here if you’re in the city!
This Memorial weekend my boyfriend and I spend it in Monterey~ Santa Cruz area. Saturday morning, Tim and I left to Monterey Bay Aquarium. When we got there, it was already packed, and it was only 10 o’clock!
I didn’t take that many snapshots of the animals, not a big fan of taking photos of animals besides my cat, but here are two photos fo jellyfish.
It’s my life. If I’m going to waste it, gonna waste it on you. It’s my life. If I’m gonna waste it — I’ll be wasted on you.By Elizabeth on May 22, 2017
I’ve been listening to this song on repeat this past week.
It’s my life. If I’m going to waste it, gonna waste it on you. It’s my life. If I’m gonna waste it — I’ll be wasted on you. Look what you did to me. I tell myself if I’m gonna fall, it’ll be from high places even when it hurts. At least, we loved hard. Didn’t we, baby?” -Fletcher
I asked my boyfriend out on a date this previous Saturday (Saturday is usually our date day and we normally switch from planning. Sometimes.). I wanted this date to be a surprise, no special occasion, so the only thing I told him was to dress warmish and be ready at 4 PM for me to pick him up.
Note: This post lacks pictures because I didn’t take any. Whoops.
I hosted a tea party to bring in spring (also to not be too bummed out not being able to go to Kentucky Derby Day — I always thought I would be going once I graduated college, but hopefully next year!)
