Holiday Wishlist

By on October 28, 2017

I don’t normally make these wish lists because I normally don’t want anything. Or to better put it, when I get a gift from someone I hope it’s them thinking about me and getting me something and not me telling them what I want. But because of that, it gets tricky, and it doesn’t help that I’m quite picky.

So all my friends who always ask me what I want for birthday and Christmas, this post is dedicated to you.

What do you guys have on your wish list this holiday?

XX,

Elizabeth

Halloween Housewarming Prep

By on October 19, 2017

Throughout the last two weeks, I have done some DIY stuff. Some of them have been cutouts, but my backyard is quite big and I wanted to have it well-decorated. Also, I need to decorate the outside too!

Some/similar things I bought/made for decorations:

The previous weekend, Michael, Tim, and I went to Costco to buy food and miscellaneous items. We also went to a pumpkin patch after, but we ended up buying pumpkins from Trader Joe’s. But the pumpkin patch was really fun to be though!

Halloween House Warming Party Planning

By on October 6, 2017

Halloween is one of my favourite holidays to celebrate. You can do so many creative things for decorations, food, outfits, etc.

And after living here for three months, Tim and I are hosting a housewarming. It’s going to be Halloween themed because it’s October! If you know me, I love, love Halloween.

And like last time, I’m going to be using this post as an inspiration post.

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia

By on September 29, 2017

This is such a delayed post. I started this on May 19th.

May 19th:

—–

It came out on Friday, May 19th, but I didn’t have it shipped to my house. And Tim, being Tim, sent me an email of it being shipped out and delivered.

Oh, the anticipation!

I also pre-ordered the figures. I’ve been playing this game nonstop, and I love it so far. I set it to hard classic, so I’m having a quite a hard time because I forgot how hard it is to gain experience points.

Presently:

I finally have finished the game! The first week I played this game, I got to the 2nd arch, but I stuck on Alm’s battles. I set aside the game for the past few months until I settled into my apartment/studio. It feels so nice to finish the game finally!

I’m really glad that they decided to remake this version and release it to the United States because this is probably one of my favorite Fire Embelm storylines. The twist at the end made me do a sad face.

The last stage, when you’re in Duma’s temple is such a maze. I think I was circling around for a while until I figured out what to do. It was quite frustrating, and I don’t think the hint was as helpful as it could have been.

Anyways, now since I have finished the game, I think I’ll start on the cosplay. I don’t want to make the outfit yet, because I’ve been working on losing weight. I think I’ll start with the buttons and wig and all those other small things.

Have you guys played this game or any of the other games in the Fire Elmblem series? I think this will probably be the last game I’ll be playing for a while.

P.S.

Though there isn’t that many scenes where Celica and Alm are together interacting, I really liked their connection with one another.
