You lit a cigarettes, as I watched you walk away, turned to a silhouette, but your words will never fade

March 29, 2018

March was mixed of being really long but also a very short month. I was sick for most of the month, from a cold, to a fever, to the flu, to coughing a lot (am still somewhat still coughing), so a lot of plans got pushed behind.

Recap:

  • Conference: Because of my paper being accepted, I was able to go attend a conference to present my work this month. It wasn’t too far away from home, but it was a nice getaway and I learned a lot.
  • Prepping for school: I’m going to be a Cardinal starting April. Bye, Crimson  ;A; But in all seriousness, I registered for my classes, picked up my student ID, and planned out my classes to turn in my study proposal at the end of the quarter. I feel all prepared and ready, but let’s see how I am halfway through April.
  • Prepping party/travel: Finally, travel plans for late April are finalized! We do need to get settled for lodging. Woot. Along with this later this week, Holmes and I are hosting a party together! I’m looking forward to it. He’s in charge of the games and I’m in charge of the food. Pictures of the party to come (hopefully, I’ll remember to get good shots of things)
  • Otaku mode: Towards the end of February and throughout this month, I have been reading so, so much manga. Super over the top shojou manga too. One manga & anime I enjoyed is Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōsei — The Irregular Magic Highschool (picture of the two main characters, Miyuki and Tatsuya, are above)

How was your March? Was daylight savings okay for you?

Xxx,

Elizabeth
