I would have only given you love .

November 1, 2017

Everything is horrible, and I feel like my life is falling apart. There’s this rotting feeling in me, where the earth’s gravitational pull sits in the shape of a disk beneath you like the center of the universe swallowing itself in its core, silencing the air through willing suffocation.

But not to be too personal in this post, these past few weeks I have been swamped with work, which was hard to do since my glasses broke and wearing contacts all day and staring at a screen isn’t fun, juggling coursework / graduate school applications, and trying to fix my bust up life (kind of).

My bucket list for November:

  • November ink/writing challenge: Here’s some of my work from the last couple of days. I’ll try to do one each day, but I’ll make a collective post of all of them at the end of the month. For some of the prompts, I’m thinking of making some into a writing challenge.
  • Reading: I need to re-prioritize reading again. Lately, my reading has been New Yorker and the New York Times. Luckily, my workplace had a book sale, and I was able to pick up a couple of books.
  • De-clutter: De-clutter.
  • Celebrate my birthday: My birthday is this weekend, and I have multiple birthday dinners with different friend groups. But what I’m looking forward to the most is getting presents. *cough, cough*  I’m kidding.  Seeing friends will be nice!
What are some of the things on your November Bucket List?

XX,

Elizabeth

P.S.

I have been listening to a lot of Beyoncé and Ciara lately.
