A HOLE IN YOUR HEART BEGGING FOR ADVENTURE

June 4, 2017

This Memorial weekend my boyfriend and I spend it in Monterey~ Santa Cruz area. Saturday morning, Tim and I left to Monterey Bay Aquarium. When we got there, it was already packed, and it was only 10 o’clock!

I didn’t take that many snapshots of the animals, not a big fan of taking photos of animals besides my cat, but here are two photos fo jellyfish.

I wanted a photo of us together, that wasn’t a selfie (I forgot my tripod this weekend!), so I asked the first lady I saw to take a photo of us.

See, I’m wearing the dress from my previous post. 🙂

After spending most of the morning/afternoon in the aquarium, we walked around downtown for a bit. But after some time, we decided to go check-in to the hotel to get some rest.

Later that night, we walked around Santa Cruz’s Boardwalk going towards Crow’s Nest. When we got there, there was a bit of a wait. So hey, let’s take more pictures outside!

We got seated outside, on the balcony, and it was just so beautiful and romantic. I didn’t expect that at all, so I felt Saturday has been probably our most “romantic” date. It was a bit dark outside, so I didn’t take any photos, but here’s Tim deciding what to eat. I got the salmon burger because I never pass down a fish burger.

Sunday

Part of the morning on Sunday, we spent walking around Santa Cruz’s Boardwalk.

Tim and I semi wanted to get a fried oreo, to go all out with carnival / theme park food, but we couldn’t bring ourselves to do it.

After walking around the Boardwalk, we walked on the pier. We stayed there for a while, because we found a whole bunch of seals!

They were all being lazy, laying around in the shade.

Next stop: Sharkfin’s Cove

I’ve never been here before, so I didn’t realize that we had to climb down this path in order to get there. Thankfully I was wearing mini wedges!

Tim decided to take a nap, and I wanted to take some photos. I gathered all our stuff and stacked them ontop of each other to make a tripod.

My first photo was pretty successful until I realized Tim’s foot was in the background. rip. But I woke Tim up after to take photos with me.

This month is going to be pretty hectic for me, but I’ll update when I can!
